Why They Call Me "The Texas Rattler"

Benjamin Franklin once wrote that a rattlesnake "never begins an attack, nor, when once engaged, ever surrenders." This is the origin of my professional nickname, "The Texas Rattler." By Nature, I am a peaceful, compassionate person. But when an unjust act is brought to my attention, my protective instinct compels me to fight — unapologetically — for what's right.

Put my knowledge, resources, and experience on your side.

Over the course of my career, I have gained invaluable insights into the world of personal injury. I’ve also discovered that my natural draw toward helping people and solving problems is a huge asset to my clients.

Professional Relationships

Over the years, I’ve built incredibly beneficial relationships with my fellow attorneys, as well as other members of the legal community. When it will help my client, I don’t hesitate to put those resources to good use.

Inventive Solutions

Even before I became an attorney, I was continually noticed for my ability to find solutions where others saw dead ends. In my mind, a case is never hopeless — some are simply more complex than others. When standard solutions aren’t working, I dig deeper into my research and find new avenues of liability to explore.

Let’s build a legal strategy that makes sense for your situation.

Your circumstances and your needs are unique to you. It follows, then, that you should have a legal strategy designed specifically to match. That’s why, as your legal counsel, I will take certain factors into account as I begin to strategize:

  • Whether mediation would benefit your case. If at all possible, I want to resolve your legal matter quickly and amicably. Done right, mediation can be an effective tool in reaching this goal.
  • How to most effectively represent you in court. I always prepare for the courtroom, just in case peaceful negotiations aren’t getting the job done. In the event that your case escalates, I will be ready with a more aggressive plan of action.

Get In Touch

When you work with me, you’re more than a client. You’re family.

I got into the field of personal injury because I knew from day one of law school that I didn’t want to sit behind a desk shuffling through paperwork. I wanted to get out there, meet real people, and coach them through their legal trouble.

I entered into the more specific field of asbestos exposure and mesothelioma because of my own family history. My grandfather was exposed to asbestos in his work, which ended up afflicting both him and my grandmother, who later passed away from lung cancer.

When it comes to my work, I am extremely professional, but I’m a person, too. I never take my clients’ situations lightly because I know from experience how impactful a serious injury or illness can be not just for them, but for their entire family.

A Human Approach to Law

When I take on a case, I know that I’m becoming part of my client’s life — a responsibility I take very seriously. When I say I treat my clients like family, I don't mean that in the metaphorical sense. I have picked up clients from the airport, driven them to doctors’ appointments, answered their calls in the middle of the night, and even changed a flat tire for one who was stranded.

I am an experienced litigator and an all-around effective attorney, but I’m a person, first and foremost. If you decide I’m the right person to take on your case, know that you’re getting an arsenal of support — both legally and otherwise.
